New Bank Cinema is a Film, Photography, TV, Commercial and Music Video production company. At its core it stands for creative originality, integrity and excellence. The projects are carefully assembled. The talent is definite, the staff is energetic, and the unit is intelligent.
The tail end of last year was filled with a lot of ups and downs. Unfortunately towards the end of the year I was unable to schedule shoots and keep the production moving steadily along. However that doesn’t mean I haven’t been hard at work. In the down time of the winter I was able to revise the script and incorporate some new ideas, build sets, conduct research about the Korean peninsula, prepare productions materials for this years shoots, and location scout. Below are pictures and video of one of the sets I built that will be used in Yeok. This will be the underground bunker in which the main character ( Seungki Cho) will attempt to grow rice in order to feed the remaining survivors.
I just want to say thank you again for supporting me and that I’m going to work my ass off to bring you something unique and beautiful. Thank you again and again and again….

I shoot film because it gives me what I want.
In July I finished my second teaching contract in Korea. After finishing my job I moved to Gwangju to start my artist residency at Mite-Ugro-Zaza. I’m going to be filming remake of La Jetee, as well as other projects. Before I could settle down and begin working I had to go on a visa run to Japan. I traveled to Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto.
